Aroma Express - Leicester

Aroma used to be a wonderful takeout spot, but recently negative reviews have been popping up on the social networking page 'Spotted'. Despite not usually listening to others' opinions, I must admit that my recent experience was disappointing. The chicken curry and chips I ordered were not up to the same standards as before under the previous owners. It not only upset my stomach but also left me feeling unwell. The customer service was lacking, with a rude attitude over the phone. Aroma could benefit from some improvements in this area, as well as in maintaining their quality standards. The curry itself was undercooked and the flavors did not blend well. It is unfortunate that I will no longer be ordering from Aroma, as it has been my go-to spot for the past 3 years. Now, I will need to find a new Chinese restaurant to order from.

I really like ordering Chinese food from this restaurant, but lately when I ask for banana cake they don't have it even though it's listed on their menu. I enjoy their beef curry, ribs in BBQ sauce, and other dishes. The delivery is always on time. I appreciate that if you spend £10 or more you get free prawn crackers, and if you spend £15 or more you get a free dessert along with the prawn crackers.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The sweet and sour king prawn balls are delicious! The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be returning regularly.

Every time I come home from university or abroad, whenever there is a celebration or just whenever I cannot be bothered to cook, I indulge in Aroma's Chilli Chips. It's a must try.
