The food used to be excellent and a good value for money many years ago, but now the cost does not seem justified. The food was just okay and nothing exceptional, and overall the experience was disappointing. It's a shame that the quality has declined from what it used to be.
We have passed by this restaurant many times before, but we had never actually been inside until today. We will definitely be coming back again! We started with poppadoms and dips, then we each had a build-your-own regular box and a drink. It cost about £24 with a lunchtime offer, and it was well worth it! Indian takeout can be expensive, so we don't often treat ourselves to it. Each box comes with 2 fillings, 2 bases, a sauce, and a chutney. In my box, I had chicken pakoras and chicken tikka on naan bread squares and chips with korma sauce on top. The korma sauce was delicious! In my partner's box, he had fish pakoras and chicken tikka on naan bread squares and chips with mighty madras sauce and spicy chutney. The spice level had him sweating, but he said it was amazing! We felt the food was great value for money, and the staff were very helpful in explaining the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant!
Ordered mutton curry got beef slices out of a packet. Actual pisstake when they charge extra for this
Original takeaway that feels unlike any other I've had elsewhere. It fills that void you have after a night out or if you need some comfort food. I'd recommend a bed of chips under your curry delish!
Amazing food. Brilliant friendly service. Great value. Will definitely be our go to takeaway in the area from now on.
