Chennai Dosa Leicester

On the belgrave road is the next parking lot in the golden mile park on the macdonald road. chennai dosa offers an excellent spread of authentic South Indian cuisine. the staff is friendly and service fast. the ambiente could be better. the food was excellent. overall it was a great culinary experience.

Price is ok .Dosa items are good . Biryani was not so great.Lime juice was horrible. Service is not that great has to wait for ever for the food. No card payment accepted.Not wheelchair access. There are better restaurants on the same street

AVOID THIS THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! They don't deserve a a star i would give it 0 if i could just like the ZERO rating they have received from the Food Standard Agency. We placed an order for a take away through Deliveroo to later find out their hygiene rating was ZERO on the app, it was too late to cancel the order. But i gave them the benefit of doubt anyway thinking the food might turn out tasty. When the order arrived it was a mess there was hardly any chutney in the tray for the Dosa. Dosa was burnt with stale potatoes. Bubblegum milkshake was a absolute joke! A bit of bubblegum syrup mixed in water in a small coffee cup. We took the takeaway back to the restraunt in the state it was delivered to show the mess they created and had delivered. Staff and owner Rafik wasn't interested at all in what was being said, the attitude was nothing to do with us take it up with Deliveroo!!! We can't refund you the money. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THEY ARE STILL OPERATING AS A BUSINESS!!! EXTREMLEY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOOD QUALITY ATROCIOUS FILTHY AND VERY UNHYGIENIC

I have ordered chicken biryani and chicken drumsticks in deliveroo. They called me after 30mins and said there is no biryani available and wanted me to replace it with fried rice which is filled nothing but with onions( i think they've used a bag of onions for 1 fried ric and 3 pieces of drumsticks tastes spoiled and rotten

Would not recommend! Stay away at all cost went for a family meal for Diwali as we thought we would try a new place , restaurant was empty around 6 people in total wich we thought was good cause we would get food and service fast. We placed order and waited 1hr 10 minutes in total whilst seeing other people get served who came in after in wich we brought to her attention she mentioned 40 minutes in that will check on it now until she realised staff did not put order through and assured us this wasn't the case and food will be 2 minutes in the end she was adamant nothing was wrong no apology what so ever we ended up leaving paying for the starters that came out 50minutes later and 3 bottles of pop. AVOID!
