Grays Coffee Shop Kitchen - Leicester

The breakfast at this restaurant was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed it while sitting outside next to the churchyard. The restaurant is a fantastic, charming little spot.

The Meaty Burger was amazing! The quality was top-notch, with delicious ingredients that tasted fantastic. The beef bacon was particularly pleasing and the quadruple cooked fries were excellent. The staff were friendly and we had a great experience. It's a perfect spot for a lunch meeting. We will definitely be returning, as the menu offers a variety of tempting options. This place is a hidden gem in Leicester's Cultural Quarter.

Grays is a great choice for lunch. We tried the burger and the weekly sandwich special, which had red Leicester cheese, chicken, bacon, and avocado. The sandwich was overflowing with ingredients (we even had leftovers) and the burger was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is nothing special, but the outdoor seating is nice when the weather is good. The highlight at Grays is definitely the food. It may not be in a prime location, but it's definitely worth the trip. We highly recommend it.

A true hidden gem, great service, interesting menu and nicely off beat. Perfect for something a bit different, definitely a place to come back to.

Not the most inspiring of venues and would not even have realised this venue existed but what a find! We had the shakshuka with soda bread toast. Wow! So tasty and eggs cooked to perfection just cut into them and the yolk just oozed perfectly. The spices just popped and enhanced the dish, with seeds adding texture. It was a huge portion and I could not eat it all. We had their drink specialty of homemade lime and basil syrup with soda water was a perfect mix of sweet and savoury which maybe testing to some palates but we loved it. Seeing the other good coming out of the kitchen which looked equally amazing, we will definitely be back
