Huns - Leicester

The fried seitan and spice mix they use is absolutely delicious, the best I've ever had. It's definitely a guilty pleasure since it's not very healthy, but the loaded fries are also amazing. I hope they can expand to have seating or move to the city center so I can visit more often! I bought a meal for three of my non-vegan friends and they all loved it. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were visiting Leicester and my Aussie partner was craving chips and gravy. Being the supportive spouse that I am, I found this vegan gem and immediately recommended it. We had the Gravy Loaded Fries and the Classic Hun Sandwich and were amazed by how good they were I would say that this is a great mix of southern fried chicken and chips and gravy addictively good! The worst that my partner could say is that we wound up with too much food and he had to choose what he would have left over, a truly impossible task.

Found Huns at Fargo Summer Vegan Festival and got their Classic burger which is chicken , lettuce, mayo and pickles £7.50). The burger is pretty much identical to a meat chicken burger you 'd find at a takeaway, if a slightly more crispy coating. The chicken was great and the mayo portion was very generous. Huns is amazing! Textures and flavours are incredible and the two owners are so lovely. The specials are always a winner too.

I tried the classic vegan fried chicken burger at the Vegan Camp Out UK and I absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend it, 10/10.
