They have a good selection of hot and cold drinks, and I especially enjoy their milkshakes. We decided to try their English Breakfast, which was decent but not perfect. The fried egg was slightly undercooked, the sausages were a bit spicy with green bits in them, the turkey rashers weren't very meaty and didn't taste like bacon, but the hash browns and toast were good. The beans were a bit cold, and the mushrooms and tomato were okay. I will definitely return for the drinks, cakes, and desserts, but I won't be coming back for the English breakfast. The prices are reasonable and cheap. I appreciate the play area for kids as well.
The staff here are lovely and helpful. Indian tea was very nicely brewed and my friend enjoyed her breakfast. The place is open and spacious and the windows bring in so much daylight, it almost felt like we were outside! The gated play area is a fab idea bc the kids had fun and we could drink our tea in peace. Highly recommend if you have kids, i wish more places were so child friendly. The only thing I'd suggest is to clean the toys bc some were quite dirty. That's the only reason I knocked off 1 star and I'd give it 4.5 if I could! Will definitely be going back
I went in once and had a milky bar milkshake made by one of the ladies in the daytime- it was lush. The second time I went I wasn't amazed. I got a milky bar one to take away and one of the blokes on a Saturday evening made it and it was foul. It didn't have that lovely milky, creamy and milk way taste to it. I felt like it had to much chocolate sauce to it and it was too sweet compared to when the ladies made it, plus it wasn't cold like when the ladies made it. But I do like the cafes desserts, choices of hot drinks etc and it is a good addition to the area for meeting friends and family. It hasn't long been opened. The women who works the morning that time I visited were lovwly, heart warming, friendly etc.
Went there with family yesterday and ordered 2x omelette with paratha and 1 full English with karak chai. The parathas and omelette were absolutely amazing, full of flavour. The place it little unconventional so don't expect high St. Levels of customer service and decor. The food is amazing and the chef is absolutely incredible. We asked for some pickle and he gave the most amazing home made pickle (which is not on the menu). He even packed some for us to take back. This chef is an absolute gem. Needless to say I'll be going back here to eat. Key takeaways: 1. Food takes some time to come so either ring up in advance or b eprepared to wait 20-25 mins. 2. You can also order a collection over the phone. 3. Go for paratha/omelette Instead of full English at this place. 4. Karak chai comes in a massive portion so order less. Hope this helps.
Amazing food, friendly owners, lovely atmosphere, best place to go out for a little treat with family n friends... Would highly recommend it
