Zizzi - Leicester Highcross

I was searching for a place to have lunch while shopping with my mom. We decided to order from the vegan menu (I always do when dining out, as my mom is vegetarian and doesn't eat eggs). We were pleased to see a variety of options on the menu, and ultimately chose the Rustico Margarita pizza, garlic bread, and sweet potato fries to share. I appreciated that each vegan dish was clearly labeled so there was no confusion about whether it contained dairy cheese or not. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The vegan pizza at this restaurant is incredibly flavorful, with a variety of menu choices that can be customized to be vegan. The chocolate and praline torte in its vegan version is also delicious.

Ask for the vegan menu, saves trawling through the normal menu. Several options for each course. I reccomend the pasta with a few of the pizza toppings added

Offers an allergen menu as well as a standard menu and vegan options are clearly marked. Vegan cheese is available on all pizzas and TASTES GREAT! Really nice to see a chain restaurant create such good options for vegans, one of the best meals i've ever had.
