The positive impression I had before was not disappointed: The food came fresh and delicious therefore, the service was very friendly. A good restaurant with ambience!
The frida la mexicana is not located in the inner city of leipzig but it is a real secret tip. the prices are reasonable to eat. the food is very tasty and tastes fresh. the services are attentive but not intrusive. who likes to eat in atmospheric restaurans is right here.

We made a reservation for the restaurant but it is not necessary as the place was completely empty on a Thursday night. We had margaritas, a chicken enchilada, a beef quesadilla, and the churro for desert. The margaritas we pretty strong but didn’t taste that...nice. The enchilada was not a typical one as it was basically a taco covered in tomato sauce, it was okay but not great. The beef quesadilla was pretty tasty as it was pulled beef. The churros were poor at best as we left half of them on the plate. Overall the food was average.
Absolutely fabulous Mexican/South American restaurant. A little way out but the number tram from the station takes you right there (and back The food is superb. I had the wonderful Colombian Lamb (almost as good as Welsh whilst my wife was delighted by her..."Three Brothers" dish. Wonderful experience.
