Suss + Salzig - Leipzig

Service is 5*. We had brunch there and the breakfast menu was small, but had something for everyone. Drinks came quickly, as did the food, but the bread rolls were at least a day old and just reheated. The kitchen staff also had some difficulty with gluten free options for my friend. I would go again, but 15€ for a large breakfast is a bit expensive in my opinion, especially for a plate of salad with some cheese and meat.

It is one of the spacious cafes which is ideal for working on your laptop, reading or coming with a small group of friends. Both the indoor and outdoor area pleasant for a long sit in. We had a lunch with vegan soup and casserole dishes, all were tasty. I think it is one of the nicest cafes in Plagwitz! Wine menu is also nice and the prices are fair.

Leipzig hat nicht gerade wenig zu bieten, wenn es um vegane Anlaufenden stellen geht. Über das Internet sind wir bei "Süß + Salzig" gelandet. Die Parkplatzsituation ist etwas schwierig, da hier größtenteils Anwohnerparken und eingeschränktes Halteverbot herrscht, dies war aber kein Problem bei uns (Wochentags zum Frühstück). Am Vortag war ein Großevent in Leipzig weshalb der Laden sehr überrannt war. Uns wurde SOFORT mitgeteilt, dass wir auf unser Frühstück warten werden müssen, weil zu viel los sei - seeeeehr tolle Aktion, denn meistens wird man auf Wartezeiten nicht hingewiesen. Trotz der Warnung haben wir unser Frühstück schnell erhalten und waren im Schlemmerhimmel: ich HASSE Oliven, aber die paste was göttlich lecker, so wie der Rest des Frühstücks... bestes Frühstück das wir in 5 veganen Jahre hatten! Dazu extreeeeem liebe und bemühte Angestellte, wir weren gerne wiederkommen und freuen uns schon auf eure mega veganen Kuchen ❤️❤️❤️
