Bottega Das Tapas - Leiria

Just to say: excellent food and phenomenal service. Since 2015 I frequent this restaurant and it is always a pleasure to stay !! Thanks for this amazing experience of Portuguese Food

The food is great, but not the cheapest place, however I knew this on advance. Daily meal is 9.5 € and includes the main dish and coffee plus soup OR dessert (so drinks are not included). Friendly service and atmosphere/facilities. Food was delucious (especially the main dish). I'll probably return here.

We had been in the SEF office for almost two hours and we were ready for a bite to eat. This restaurant is bright and clean, and plenty of lunchtime diners. The menu was 2 courses for 7.70 euros, which in our opnion was quite good, especially being near the town centre. We ordered vegetable soup, very tasty, chicken leg and chips with migas, not a big portion but adequate for lunch. We also had 1/2 bottle of wine, a bottle of water and 2 coffees. The bill was just 20.50 euros. We may have chosen the tapas but we are eating out this evening also so didn't want to overdo it......
