Slim Chickens - Lenexa

I absolutely love this restaurant! The chicken strips are incredibly delicious. I’m a big fan of the smoky potato salad as a side dish. You also get to pick from a variety of dipping sauces, including Bleu cheese, which is not very common but happens to be one of my favorites! For dessert, they offer cheesecake bites served in a charming mason jar.

I’ve only visited a few times and tried the Classic and Slim Chicken meals, but I have to say, the quality of the chicken here rivals that of a sit-down restaurant, even though you can order it through the drive-thru. All their sauces are homemade, and they are absolutely fantastic! And don’t get me started on the garlic bread – it’s delightful!

I had a great experience at Slim Chickens! The chicken is excellent, and they serve generous portions of both chicken and fries. The restaurant is always clean and pleasant. However, I noticed that the older woman at the counter could improve her customer service skills. She didn’t greet us when we arrived, but aside from that, everything was fantastic!

Service was slow and mushrooms were greasy and not fully cooked. Want to believe it was due to lack of help which is a problem everywhere. Salad was good. Have heard good things abouts Slims will give them another try later.

We decided to try this place today and we're not very satisfied. I got the 3 and 3 meal and he got the 5 and 5 meal, so we are both wondering why he only had 3 wings in his box. We waited about 10mins at the window for our food with no one else in line, so you would think everything came out piping hot. NOPE! The only thing that was warm were my side of mushrooms. The best part of the meal was my Lemonade and that's sad. I don't know if we will ever return here, especially if they're going to rip us off again.
