They have sandwiches to go as well for those looking for pick nic lunch, as well as a sitting area where you can get drinks, from light lunches (kasekuchen, omelletes) to full meals (e.g alpenmagronen) all in very reasonable prices. We liked it so much we even bought some things to eat when back home. 100 recommended!
Stopped here for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and wide variety of pastries and desserts available. Nice cozy place, recommend since it's the only one around. I did think 5 CHI was a little expensive though.
Never seen such unflexibel staff regarding dishes. I had to go in again to ask for an additional plate. Not capable to give me an additional plate and spoon to share a big portion for two kids. No it comes like this yes, but i only need a plate and spoon. So went inside to ask the lady at the cashier. Bread and pastry is nice and good. Dishes are OK, but too expensive for what you get. Sunday open, very good to get bread, but that 's it.
Visited the wonderful swimming pool in Lenk, decided to treat ourselves to some cake and tea after. Food was fine, reason for two stars is the absolutely appalling service in charging 2CHF for a tiny glass of tap water (lenker wasser! for my 1 year old. Family of four, we all had drinks and a pastry each. Would have complained and refused to pay it but didn't notice until I was home.
We chanced upon this little restaurant with a bakery attached for lunch. The food is rustic but good quality with good service and good coffee in a cosy surrounding. The bakery is great for buying those chocolate, biscuit presents to take home.
