Unfortunately not our best choice. The price-performance ratio is not optimal. 32. Euro for 2 adults breakfast and a children's breakfast is too expensive. Self-made jam is also not for everyone, so not for us. The selection of rolls and bread was quite ok. But sausage and jam are not very good. We're not coming back.
A lucky coincidence that I was on the way from Lensahn to Cismar when I drove through a cable harness. There I saw the sign "Lunaus Hofladen und Freude" on a large wall of the house. When I wanted to go to a farm café, I went there to the gravel court, which also serves as a parking lot. A short glance showed me a barn next to the café, over her door stands a handwritten sign, fruit and vegetables. However, this door was closed and I took course to the entrance. Behind the entrance there is a small shop on the left. There are mainly regional products such as wine, beer and also coffee from the region. On the right is the vault, where one is almost beaten by the selection. I saw so many cakes that I couldn't remember them. However, I don't get a cake and so I decided to have an ice cup with three balls, namely vanilla, biscuits and mint chocolate (also known as After Eight). The mint chocolate was beautifully green and provided with many chocolate pieces, the biscuit ice cream was beautiful yellow and with many small cookies in it and the vanilla ice cream was snow white and with black spots in it. All this convinced me so much that I immediately met the spoon in the lovingly dressed ice cup. And here too I was not disappointed. Cremig, intense, natural taste and without ice crystals. There was an ice crystal. You can't really hurt that now, can you? Unfortunately, I cannot say whether the ice is produced on the farm itself, but it is not an industrial ice cream. From the seat I had a beautiful view of the terrace, which of course was not put into operation in April. There is also a small pavilion under which there are no tables. He probably only enjoys the view. And the view is a good keyword, because from the guest room you can also take a view over the terrace into the unique landscape of Dutch Switzerland. With its straight bends, light hills and small large cities, it is ideal for me. There are many villages as well as cable harness where this café is located. The interior is too old. The chairs and tables are made of wood and look like they're pretty old. But they are not because the opening in summer 2017. The lamp on the ceiling also seems to originate from earlier times. Great. As a small joke, a cup was halved, equipped with a lamp and suspended on the wall, and twice in the small guest room. I can't tell the toilets that the bubble was empty. I'd have two small points of criticism. On the one hand, the concept of self-service works here. I think it's nice to order at the counter and bring it to the table. Now you have to arrange yourself with trays. The other criticism is sometimes too high prices. For example, a cup of coffee costs 2 euros, while a cup of coffee costs 3.90 euros. By the way, you can eat lunch and breakfast there, but I haven't tried it yet. It's out of question. So I can't say if the concept of self-service also works there. I would be happy to take lunch at the table, otherwise this reminds me of Canteen.... Conclusion: Beautifully idyllicly situated in a village in the Dutch Switzerland, this café attracts with delicacies. But also hot meals can be taken. The ambience is also harmonious. It was simply furnished with attention to detail. For the self-service concept and the somewhat high prices I draw a star. For the fantastic location I put the heart up.
