We stopped here for coffee whilst out walking. Great location and stunning views.The waitress was very welcoming and helpful.They serve evening meals and have an outdoor pool for use by their guests. She said it was best to book after 6pm.Very uplifting Austrian folk music playing and a great atmosphere.

Fantastic apres ski - party all around!Great food! Rooms absolutely sufficient and better than expected for a cosy hotel in the middle if the mountain.Directly next to the slope to Viehhofen so optimal given good snow conditions.If no skiing possible cheap oncall shuttle offered and discount on price.Jarmilla as host is great, staff very attentive and all look after you to make a perfect holiday.Great value for money in a special location.

At last run 68 was open and we got to experience the food in Hecherhuette. Superb food on both occasions - made a point of heading there for lunch on our last days skiing in Saalbach area. Well worth a visit
