El Bodegón - Leon

I went to Nicaragua for 20 days and went all over and this was my favorite place my only regret was discovering it to late, I arrived around 10pm and it had a great atmosphere and decorated perfectly, I loved the live music and drinks were awesome, I will be visiting Leon on my next trip to Nicaragua just to visit el bodegón again :

Nice atmosphere. Good food and huge cocktails. Def recommend the chicken wings! That portion was great, the wrap was a bit small. Staff was very friendly and accommodating

I stopped here for cocktails twice. On my third visit, I ordered the lechon on a bed of cassava. I was pleasantly surprised because I had never eaten casava. It is a Yuca. Taste and consistency close to potatoes. The traditional mojito and with passion fruit as well as the traditional michelada were delicious. Highly recommended.

Lovely restaurant, excellent food! We got jalapeño chicken and lechón, both were wonderful dishes, as was the caipirinha cocktail. Though I’m sorry to say the service was quite poor. I hope the restaurant can improve their service standards to match their top notch cuisine!

Sweet spot. Cool decor, intimate setting, and great tastes. I'd call this really really well bone bar food. Menu runs to bites, wings, quesadillas,, nachos, and more delicious finger food. We were super happy.
