Coosh's Bayou Rouge - Leon County

Great brunch options! Our server was super attentive. I am not a huge breakfast food person and it wasn't 11 yet (when they start serving their lunch) so I got biscuits and sausage gravy (delicious) and they allowed me to take the chicken and put it on the side and they smothered it in buffalo sauce for me! So good!

This is not authentic New Orleans food. I had the gumbo and it tasted nothing like any gumbo I've ever had. My wife had fried catfish that was undercooked in the middle of the filets. The only decent part of our meal was a piece of Keylime pie. It wasn't great, but it was ok. Unfortunately we will not be coming back to Coosh's again.

I come here after work and always feel taken care of. Wonderful staff, Sophie is always so sweet, kind and attentive. The bbq burger on a sourdough bun is one of my favorite foods there. And all of their homemade desserts are delicious. If you are a carrot cake lover, you have to try their carrot cake!
