The Leonardtown Grille

Family of 7 with 2 kids (one was 3 yo) came for dinner took a half hour to take drink order and another half hour to receive drinks. NO bar service!! One guest went to bar to get drinks for group the entire visit took 2.5 HoURS for food to be served!!!!! One child had a meltdown due to hunger and anxiety in restaurant avoid this place at all costs!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Decided to try for the first time yesterday evening. Super slow service, four orders of food came out super cold and without flavor might I add. The food didn't really have a good aroma. Ordered a soda; it came with no syrup. They said the syrup ran out but at the same time I noticed other people getting darker colored beverages that appeared to have syrup. This restaurant seems to be for people that have been going there for a while and have no taste buds or just use to unflavored food. The soup of the day came back up it less than 10 minutes. Yes I chucked. Pardon the language but that sh$t was gross. What in the heck was that!? Cream of tomato!? I don't think so! Watery with diced tomatoes and onions! Uncooked crunchy tomatoes. Yuck. Do not recommend.

The Leonardtown' Grille is permanently closed. Great while it lasted. It was sold summer of 2023, a new owner is opening a new tap and table.

I went to this restaurant today with my 90-year-old father and my wife. We ordered breakfast, but it took a while for our food to come out and unfortunately, it was not very good. I had asked for cheese with my eggs, but it wasn't included. The waitress kindly removed the charge from the bill. My father's meal was also cold. To make matters worse, all three of us got sick after having the scrapple that came with our meals, as it was overcooked. This place used to be good, but it seems like the quality has gone downhill. The service was decent, but the food and atmosphere were lacking. The price per person was between $10-20.
