Wing's - Les Acacias

Eating well without spending too much is possible, very good pizza for 10. and succulent burger with homemade bread 12. to discover.

Full disclosure I am not a fan of pizza. But there can be exceptions and this is one. Looking for a quick bite in this industrial part of Geneva I chanced on this place. The World Cup was on and England were losing, but the beer was cheap and fine and the pizzas were CHF10 each. Cooked to order and very tasty indeed. The place looks a little worn and is rough and ready, but that is where you find little local gems. I had a 4 cheese and a couple of beers for CHF18, which made up for the score. Quiet place, friendly staff, chatty owner, good food. All told quite a nice meal and, for Geneva, very reasonable indeed.

It's a nice place to play the tactilo machine in complete discretion, and what's more, you can eat pizza if you're feeling hungry and watch a football match... I just find it a shame that in the morning it's open every other day... And I don't know exactly when it's open or when it's closed...

Das Lokal wirkt ein wenig abgenutzt und grob, aber genau dort findet man kleine lokale Schätze. Ich bestellte eine Vier-Käse-Pizza und ein paar Biere für 18 Franken, was den Preis wert war. Ruhige Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal, redseliger Besitzer, gutes Essen. Alles in allem war es ein gutes Mahl und für Genfer Verhältnisse sehr vernünftig.
