Chalet TONIA - Les Allues

There were two lunches and both meals were fabulous. The staff is friendly, attentive and want to take care of you. This, as often is not the case in the mountains!

Stopped here as convenient for where we were skiing in the meribel area. Good sun trap on the terrasse. Chose to order from the outside snack bar .... painfully slow as only one man staffing it. 2 paninis, 2 frites and 1 fish chips...for 48 Euro’s .... then had to go inside to get 50cl pichet wine at the extortionate price of 28 Euro’s. Paninis and frites ok but fish pretty greasy. Wouldn’t rush back. Plenty other better places around to stop.

Very friendly, varied and traditional Savoyard menu, reasonably priced for a mountain restaurant in the 3 Valleys, super decor. Definitely one to aim for! Vegans were able to eat very nice combination of ‘sides’.

I called to book for 12 people. We sat down and after 25 minutes no one came to give us the menu or ask us for drinks, so I stood up to ask the menu. Then 15 minutes later I had to stand up...again asking to get our order and we learned that some dishes were no longer available on the menu. And no one asked us about the drinks. A total mistake. We left and we recommend that the guys change the work.
