We came after 1:00 without reservation, but a table was available. The restaurant was very busy and full of locals enjoy the food. We enjoyed it too. Typical French country kitchen. Very brilliant host who spoke very good English and felt welcome.
On the busy mother's day booked for lunch. Beautiful terrace but super long wait: it took us 2 hours to eat a salad. The table near us was not ordered after more than an hour after sitting. We skipped the... Dessert and went inside to avoid waiting for an additional hour. The food was good, but the portions were too small. The service was right.
We had lunch here last Saturday- and we were so impressed with the ambiance, views, menu and considerate service that we booked for dinner last night and an overnight stay at the Chambres D’hôtes too. It was fabulous, great food and wine, all very competitively...priced, and a very comfortable stay in the midst of vines with the best breakfast too. Thank you Laurence and the team, we will see you again.
Stopped in here on a Friday evening with no reservations. We found the place at random as we were driving around the area near where we were staying. The staff were extremely friendly and very willing to deal with our lack of French language skills....The food was very good I had a pasta dish and my husband had a steak. With wine and dessert I found the meal to be a very good value. I'd love to go back during the daytime when you could sit outside as the setting in the local vineyards is lovely.
