Wine bottles are sold at least 30 % more expensive than elsewhere (difficult to find a bottle under 80). When you are leaving you will have to pay a high price and they will not even propose a free nightcap to express their thanks. I will definitively not visit them anymore.
We had a wonderful evening. Some changes to the menu included scallops wrapped in bacon with a passion fruit sauce. Still the best steak you can eat, this is the only place to go for great steaks. I have tried most of the menu over time and it's all super, right down to the homemade caramel ice cream.
Wow! Food, ambiance, wine, service all exceptional! How can this be in this sleepy village, centre of Paris yes it would fit! We are lucky it is in Port Valais and we love it. We want a fidelity card please! Just wonderful all round.
The GT bar is on a road that just passes through this small village. The decor is simple yet modern. The menu is almost fusion with Thai tartar, and tapas. Just get to the main courses.... BEEF and lots of it, three sizes of beef, all served on a sizzling granite slab. You cook it yourself, you get the apron to protect your clothes too! beef and french fries, sauces and some veg. The Beef is so tender its unbelievable. I went 3 times in 10 days. You can also have horse steak too.... Go on its great! during the summer there is a terrace, and thursday night its all you can eat king prawns.
