Late for lunch, remembered and received a warm greeting from the owner. he was extremely patient with my appalling French and very humble. we had only sandwiches and coffee, but both were fresh and excellent.
We had explored the local prehistory and arrived very late in les eyzies for lunch. the dame, which operates 1001 sandwiches, was very welcoming, although she had no more brot, she made various suggestions. we ended up with the ente .potato pie, which was very well served with a small dressed salate. we will come back here at our next visit, but we will try to be a bit earlier!
I'm not sure what the last review ordered, but we had an excellent lunch here. there was a man who does everything. we had a Cesar salad, a Cabecou salad and an omelette with fresh cepes. I didn't expect much, it doesn't look promising. but eating was great. I came to the woman that the tomatoes were blooming in my salat were really good, she told us that the tomatoes and the salat were greens from their own garden. that explains taste and fresh. such a relief from heavy, fat-loaded lunchtime.
Pretty bad taste, pretty bad combinations and not overly good value. €2 for a dose Coke‽ her average fat spoon café in South London is better, and they are terrible.
