When the restaurant was full, the service for the raclette was a bit slow, but they served it until. they told them you had enough. it was a volonté. it didn't come cheap, you're almost 500 chf for 7 including wein and apéro.
We were doing the Haute Route hike and had come from Arolla. This was to be our rest day with just a small trek to La Sage via the lower route. This allowed us to spend a leisurely two hours in the sun on the...patio of this restaurant. The hostess was so helpful when we inquired about the grocery store. She quickly called the owner to ask him to stay open for us as we ran down to get provisions for lunch for our hike the next day. (no stores in La Sage)...the lunch was superb~ nice portions and a very delicious Caesar salad (I asked for anchovies) with chicken and their home made dressing. The location, beside the church, was lovely as the bells tolled on Sunday noon. It 's worth stopping here and eating...we were nourished physically and mentally by our stop here!
We were here recently and really enjoyed the meal we had during the stay here. the rosti with sweetness was delicious as the mushroom risotto. my man loved the desserts!
During a long weekend on the camping site molignon, where the restaurant was closed due to the owner on holiday, we went here for ashes and burgers. although eating was not special, the service was very friendly and easy to go.
