The waitress must be the boss 's daughter since she had no shoes during the entire service and she brought us the bread and water with a cigarette on her hand!! I 've never saw this is kind of behaviour in my entire life. Service is incredibly slow and bad organized, there was only one of the waiters who really seemed to work. So, you have 2 menus. One at 30€ (starters+main+desert) and then the 'cheep ' one at 22€ (main+desert). Even if the food was great, the prices are way to high. And, plus, you had clumbsy, still sleeping teenagers serving you food, with no shoes and smoking at the same time?? Way to hippie for me. Fish was overcooked. Potatoes were good, and the lamb was good too. In my point of view, they need to change the staff and to lower the menu prices.
This is a stop for truck drivers, which guarantees good fare without bells and whistles, and indeed we were not disappointed. The menu is more or less set although slight alterations will be made if that is possible for the cook/kitchen. So come for the food and for the company!
A group of eight, including children aged 3 and 5, we called by Le Siecle on very hot Sunday hoping to shelter from the midday sun, and maybe have a bite to eat. Le Siecle is the only restaurant in Les Ollieres, apart from the campsites, and being a Sunday it was very busy. Despite the nearly full dining room, we were seated promptly, drinks took a little while but considering there was only one waitress to service diners and 2 sunny terrasses we didn't mind a bit. Ice cold water was served without being prompted, a welcome relief on such a scorching day! The menu was wonderfully simple, in the best possible way. My dorade grillée was delicious and the crème brûlée I had for dessert was fabulous. The two courses were included in the formule 19E, we enjoyed a pichet of rosé too 50cl for just 6E. It was a great meal, great value it was just what we needed.
a little romantic weekend, passing through the century. very well served and fast meals. small digestive offered by the boss finally small "a beautiful bucket"
family restaurant with a pleasant welcome, a gigantic menu for such a small restaurant. I wanted to test the gratin ravioli! It’s a horror that doesn’t taste an insipid white cream on the just cooked and avid ravioli on it is immangeable! On the other hand, the ankle was very good! shorts, choose your dish very carefully!
