Warm, friendly service from John and his Scottish born mother Kathleen who fell in love with the late Carlos and started the restaurant in 76. Superb seafood rice dish and rack of lamb in most convivial surroundings. Will definitely return.
Fantastic food, fantastic friends, fantastic staff, fantastic night. Once again John, Kathy and the whole team excelled themselves with the food, the atmosphere and the service. We were celebrating mums 92nd birthday, just as in previous years, at still the best restaurant in L’Escala. The best views food and staff. Thank you also to all the 34 guests, And others having food who joined in the celebrations. If your in L’escala get to the port and enjoy.
Six of us had a leisurely lunch outside, great food, service was a bit slow but they were fully booked and we were in no hurry. One of our friends remembers going there 40 years ago, the owner, Cathy had just started up and she is still there with her son John running the place. No menu del dia on a Sunday but other days excellent value and well recommend. Good view over the marina and parking always available even in August in the marina car park close by.
