Hostal El Roser - l'Escala

My wife had sole, it was good, she liked it a lot. I had beef, it was ok, not perfect. Mushroom sauce was not the best one , should have been more creamy. The Spanish way to fry potatoes in oil is not the best way. Starters were good.

This is a busy restaurant and booking is recommended. The menu del dia was interesting, and the food was good. White bean starter was very tasty, my friend enjoyed the rabbit main course, while I had a lovely monkfish. An ice cream episode to follow was delicious. Wines were very good. This is a family run Catalan restaurant catering mainly for Cartalans

We enjoyed the menu of the day fresh tasty Catalan dishes of seafood and beef service was fantastic and meal very good value our favourite meal in L’Escala

Aunque han cambiado los dueños, sigue siendo el clásico de siempre, y el menu es estupendo y muy del mar y la tierra de el Emporda
