Visited Luxembourg in summer 2019 for a couple of days and had never heard of La Boucherie but as soon as we walked past I knew we were going in! Every plate on the tables in the street looked amazing, I wanted it all! I went for the Butchers Platter and Katie had Carpaccio, my steaks were prepared perfectly, beautiful meat and the fries were spot on. The Carpaccio was bigger than expected and then when she finished the waiter came and asked if she was ready for the second plate!! The food presentation was beautiful on every plate and the portions were all generous. Little touches that I loved were the customised cutlery with La Boucherie branding, may sound funny but when you order a steak you need decent tools! Beautiful setting in the town centre, the restaurant was very clean and modern, some review said it was too clinical but I disagree, it was clean, but it still had a lovely atmosphere and some character in the branding. Fantastic value (for Luxembourg) and very attentive staff, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Good food and very friendly staff. Superb service, quick and hot. Pretty decent plating making the food more appealing. Escargot was excellent especially with the bread to dip. Duck salad is huge for the main. Next time we know to get the starter size. Portions were large for Europe. Last French meal before Spain.

Great spot for a casual dinner on the Place d'Armes. Variety of grilled steaks, wines available by the glass or 1/2 bottle, and friendly professional service personnel. Dine in or out in a most enjoyable atmosphere.
