Cafe Madeleine - Leura

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with flavors that lived up to its appearance. The staff, while generally friendly, were somewhat indifferent.

I would not recommend the milkshake, as both female employees who made them lacked proper hygiene practices. Overall, poor hygiene habits detracted from the experience at this café. When asking for the bill, I was instructed to pay at the counter. When I asked for a breakdown of the charges, the server seemed annoyed. I was charged for a missing item from my meal and when I questioned it, there was pushback. Needless to say, I did not leave a tip. If you are the owner of this restaurant, I recommend providing training for your employees. The food options are great, but the service needs improvement.

If you are in Leura Mall, you have to stop at Cafe Madeline and enjoy a Josophan's Fine Chocolates hot chocolate. Extra creamy with its marshmallow and finest chocolate. Also, their Turkish delight loves among many other treats from their workshop. It was at the end of the day before the ride home and the staff took care of us and made us so welcome. Can't wait to taste the local honey with honey comb

Staff were not happy working there! Service not good. I had white choc cheesecake, it tasted like straight white choc and butter, it was served with tinned passionfruit. Did not eat! Husband had soup with untoasted bread. Will not be back.

What a find. Had pea and ham soup was devine. Best I've ever had. Pulled pork and Apple slaw sandwich was yummy. English breakfast tea weak and bitter. Need to change brand. Good decor and atmosphere.
