Schlosspark Schloss Morsbroich

Unsere Erfahrung war gut. Ich würde es normalerweise mit 4 Sternen bewerten. Aufgrund des schlechten Schnitts aktuell gebe ich aber 5. 3 hat es nicht verdient.Bedienung und Chef wären nett. Bedienung war scheinbar neu was aber nicht negativ aufgefallen ist. Ambiente war außen und innen sehr ansprechend und sauber.Vorspeise für 2 hätte vielleicht nen kleinen Ticken mehr sein dürfen.Hauptspeisen waren ausreichend von der Menge und auch sehr lecker. Klar ist der Preis vielleicht ein wenig höher, aber vermutlich muss auch eine höhere Pacht aufgrund der Lage mal erwirtschaftet werden.Wegen der 3er Bewertung wollte ich erst nicht hin. Wurde eines besseren belehrt .

Ich muss grundsätzlich sagen, das wir gerne ins Schloss Morsbroich, in den Park und ins Restaurant gehen. Leider muss ich sagen, dass es auf die Tagesform des Service und der Küche ankommt. In den meisten Fälle ist der Service schnell und freundlich und die Küche gut. Ich kann hier besonders das Wiener Schnitzel empfehlen, das wirklich gute Qualität liefert und mit dem Kartoffelsalat sehr,sehr lecker ist. Leider ist die Karten seit gefühlten langen Jahren dieselbe und wird Langweilig.Einwenig neues und Abwechslung wie z.B. eine Tageskarte, und schon gibt es ein Sehr gut.

Entering the whole Schloss Morsbroich Castle ground your first stop needs to be the shop with a class of its own.....you have to purchase your entrance ticket to any of the events taking place in the 'Castle', here.The shop is run by free-lance staff to support the cultural side of the 'Castle' and adds to keeping it's doors open.Anything hand selected and unusual, in decor, scarves, leather items, wooden toys, jewellery to name but a few can delight not only the eye but also makes you go out off your usual shopping way and tempts you to buy something 'special' for yourself or the person 'who has it all' but just 'needs' this special item.Before you go and have your foods, etc. in or outside the restaurant a stroll through the surrounding park is a must.....well kept with all sorts of flowers of the season delight your eyes.The restaurant caters for all ages and all taste buds, from vegan, vegetarian or/and meat eating customers....the well designed menu says it all. Cold/hot beverages, a selection of good wines, liqueurs and beers are all on offer, too.On my last visit I enjoyed a delicious ice-coffee on the restaurant's outside area overlooking the Castle's front facade. Long tables next to me had been previously booked by larger groups, who had just experienced an introduction talk in the Castle's "Spiegelsaal" (Mirror Hall) for a forth coming concert in town.All around me visitors have been raving about their foods some enjoying smaller salad dishes, soups, or just coffee's and cake.Children were playing on metal art designs situated on the grassy areas close by or just ran around.In the previously and redesigned stables of the Castle a group cleared out remnants of an event. These areas can be booked for all sorts of happenings.All in all this is a 'must visit' for any tourist/holiday maker or local who wants to experience a beautiful outing regardless the weather conditions.

The location is beautiful but the food was average and the service really poor. Imagine how great this place could be with a little attention to details...

Wir sind nun schon zum dritten mal in relativ kurzer Zeit hier; das Essen ist wie immer spitze! Vor allem das Steak für 18EUR und die Bruscetta sind wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Aussicht nicht zu toppen und das Personal absolut freundlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein.
