I also wish it specified what was included on the plate (unless I missed that somewhere) The piri piri was nice, a bit too spicy for me, but delicious flavour.
We whole place is run by kids, they run like the Energizer but mess up the orders, I ordered a full rack of ribs and only got me a half. Service was also slow, Toole almost 30 minutes for us to get the main course, mind you the restaurant was bery busy. Waiters running all over the place trying to catch up with all the orders. Despite the fact it was a very crowded place they were constantly cleaning and I was surprised to notice that there was a guy cleaning the glass of the front door on a super busy Friday night at 8 pm. No complaints about the food just a negative note on the girl that took our orders, she missed one of the few items we ordered.
Sadly the chicken was leathery and shouldn't have been served. Not much variety in the salads for the price.
It has been over 30 years since I went to one of these St Hubert restaurants. I went here with my great friend from Québec. I treated him for hosting me at his new home for the week. The restaurant was very appealing and super clean outside and inside. We were greeted on the way in by a nice lady. It was not busy so she told us to go ahead and seat ourselves where we wanted. They seemed to have a nice extensive menu, but not too much. The booth we sat in was very comfortable. My friend and I were able to enjoy each other's company and were not rushed. We started with drinks. We both were given ice waters. My friend ordered a beer which was only about $4 and I felt like getting soda. So I ordered just refillable coca cola. We ordered our meals. We pretty much ordered the same thing. I tweeked mine to have it a little different, small upgrade. They brought us the coleslaws next. He had the vinegar, I had the creamy. Adding the crushed pepper to the coleslaw makes it taste even better! Next, the main courses and sides were brought out. We had the whiskkey bbq half rack of ribs and a quarter chicken. It came with seasonal veggies and fries. I made my fries into a poutine because Québec has the best poutine! Also with the dinner, if you order any Rib plate, we also got four free wings each. The wings are plain but have a good small spice flavor to them. We also enjoyed the gravy dip sauce which I dipped my chicken and veggies into. We picked here for the chicken, but was pleasantly surprised with the awesome ribs! Everything here was so tasty! Olivier was our super nice server. He was very tentative and kept coming to check on us. I got plenty of drink refills. Thank you St Hubert for a wonderful experience and a trip also down memory lane!!! Definitely recommend you eat here when in the area!
Friendly staff. Nailed a complicated order despite a language barrier.Main street is under construction. Huge mess. Recommend taking the back road in.
