Crown Carvery - Lewes

We visited Stone House in Shoreham tonight and the employees from Peacehaven took over for the evening. I didn't have high expectations as Shoreham is not a big town, but I must say tonight was amazing. My family even had seconds and the plates were cleaned. I will definitely drive 30 minutes in the future to dine here. The chef's cooking was exceptional and the lovely waitress Eileen made our experience even more enjoyable.

I recently dined at the Stonehouse with my family for dinner. We ordered starters, carvery, pizza, and desserts. The starters were delicious and nicely presented. The carvery was fantastic with a wide variety of meats to choose from. The pizza looked appealing and my son was thrilled with it. It's a great option for kids. I personally had the carvery which was amazing, with plenty of accompaniments like mint sauce and gravy. The desserts were incredible and beautifully presented. Our experience was enhanced by the exceptional service, particularly from Adam, one of the chefs who went above and beyond. Thank you, Adam! We will definitely be coming back for more.

This restaurant was average considering the price. The chefs behind the counter did not wear any protective gear, which is unprofessional.

We had the best carvery we had here on Sunday in many years! the flesh was juicy and tasty and the bratkartoffeln were amazing. we were served by hastens that was so friendly and helpful! a great experience and we will. be back.

We went here for my sons 5th Birthdays they dont have any children starters on the menu also very poor options for allergies. All staff were grumpy and most tables around is remained empty but dirty the whole time we were there will not be...back again.
