Padella D'oro - Lewes

At first, we didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised by the food and welcoming service. The city centre of Newhaven is currently lacking, but hopefully, it will improve over time. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

My family and I went to Padella D'oro Restaurant on Saturday evening and we were very impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. It's a hidden gem tucked away from the main road with convenient parking available. The service was top-notch and the food was delicious. The prices were affordable and the portion sizes were generous. It's rare to find a well-cooked main dish for under twelve pounds. Special thanks to the young lady who attended to us and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The appetizers were fantastic, but the pizza was nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, we received the wrong order after waiting for an hour for our two pizzas. It's a shame, and it seems like it may have just been an off night. It appeared that only one staff member was running the kitchen, delivery, and front of house.

If we could rate this restaurant more than 5 stars we would. All dishes were full of flavour and hearty. The staff were professional and friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. We will definitely visit again.

Exceptional food with excellent service. We had 3 starters, 3 main courses and 2 sides. All were presented fabulously and tasted incredible. Would recommend booking to get a table. We will definitely be back.
