We visited this place as part of the CAMRA Ale trail with our children. Being a Harvey’s affiliated pub, it’s no surprise that the Best Bitter was excellent. I would even dare to say it was one of the best pints of Best Bitter I’ve had outside of Lewes. The pub has a spacious garden with a fantastic wooden climbing frame, slide, and swings for the kids. Although we didn’t eat there, we will definitely come back to try the menu. The service and atmosphere were friendly and inviting. Overall, it’s a great pub.

This pub is incredibly welcoming. They went above and beyond by giving my friend and her children a ride home when they couldn't find a taxi! The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
