Tudor's Biscuit World - Lewisburg

Tudor's is quite popular in West Virginia, and I finally had the chance to visit one. As I was leaving the city, I stopped at the Tudor in Lewisburg for a quick breakfast. I ordered a sausage biscuit with grape jelly. The biscuits were about twice the size of what I usually find at my local shop, fully enveloping the sausage with their fresh, fluffy goodness.

I suppose you really need to be a local to appreciate it. I dined here a few months back because my girlfriend thought it seemed like a cool spot. Honestly, it was just okay—not something I’d feel the need to rave about. The waitress was attentive and quick, darting around the dining room to take orders and refill our tea. The food arrived and looked perfectly standard. Once I finished, I felt the same way—just average. It wasn’t anything extraordinary for me, but I can see why some might really enjoy it.

We definitely need to give this place another shot. During a recent gas stop, we decided to visit Tudor's Biscuit World to pick up some cookies for breakfast the next day. The cookies were enormous, hearty, and tasted pretty good. Next time, we plan to return and form a more thorough opinion.

This is a really great place to eat. The foods really good and the service is excellent. Besides having breakfast, there’s quite a few items on the menu for lunch.

Of all the Tudors locations we have visited in WV, this location continues to be our favorite. No matter the crowd, the weather or circumstance, the staff is always above and beyond. Food is hot and delicious, counter/wait staff always spot on, friendly and caring. Restrooms are extremely clean. Atmosphere is welcoming and so friendly. We’ve shared time with regulars and it’s like we really belong there Thanks to all seen and unseen employees. You do WV proud.
