Zany Graze - Lewiston

We have visited this restaurant multiple times and they offer excellent vegetarian options. They serve a delicious vegan sandwich and vegan burgers. Both my partner and I always enjoy our experiences here. The sandwiches and burgers come with vegan mayo. My partner is picky, but they always accommodate him without any issues.

I have visited this valley for 31 years and have been a vegetarian for 23 years. Unfortunately, the Happy Day Corp restaurants, including Zany Graze, are not very vegetarian friendly. During my last visit, I asked if the veggieburger contained any animal products and was assured by the waitress that it was vegan. However, when it arrived, it was covered in mayo. After sending it back, the second burger was missing the avocado, which was the only vegetarian option on the menu. I was left unsure if the veggie patty was even vegan. If you're willing to pay for overpriced side dishes or a simple salad, then Zany Graze may be an option for you.

My husband and I were thrilled to discover this restaurant based on the 2018 reviews. Since then, many things have changed, but there are still a few vegan entrees and several appetizers that can be made vegetarian. We decided to try the Zany Die Fry, which was a bit pricey but very large. We were disappointed that they were out of the Impossible Huh Stir Fry that we had wanted to try. The flavors in the dishes we did have were simple and mild, but delicious. They also offer an Impossible Burger sandwich and an Impossible Chicken sandwich with vegan mayo options, but no vegan cheese. They also have a steamed veggie melt, although they do not offer melted vegan cheese. Additionally, there is a sushi section called "Zushi's" with vegan California rolls. They also have a great selection of local beers and wines.
