I tried the catfish today and it was fantastic! I usually order the gumbo, which is excellent as well.

I really appreciated the friendly and attentive service, which certainly deserves five stars. However, I was quite disappointed with the seafood dish. The taste and texture were off, and I couldn't finish it after just a few bites. Unfortunately, I ended up throwing it away without asking for a refund.

We had a late lunch and tried the two-choice special for $10.99, which comes with two sides. The prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes. The shrimp was quite delicious, while the catfish was just okay. The hush puppies were average in taste. The restaurant appeared clean, although the floors were flat gray cement, making it hard to tell for sure. What really sets this place apart is the service. If I could make a suggestion, I would add a fountain drink station with plenty of ice, offer freshly brewed iced tea, and use real metal cutlery to enhance the experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend the fried okra, as it was overly salty. However, I look forward to coming back to try some of the other items on the menu. As for parking, I can't comment on that, but they do offer kid-friendly meal options.
