However, the cheesy potatoes were rather dull and lacked flavor. The baked beans were excellent, though, and the macaroni and cheese was quite standard. I didn't have the chance to try the other large side dishes, but I plan to on my next visit. I did notice that the portion sizes have definitely decreased while prices have increased. As for parking, it's a bit of a free-for-all, but there's always plenty of space available in the lot behind the building.
The BBQ was delicious. It's a bit of a hidden gem, but definitely worth visiting. Prices are reasonable. However, I must mention that the rolls were extremely hard—so hard that they could probably break a windshield!
Y’all do not go. This was not good the food was bland, my cheesy potatoes are cold, the beans are over cooked and mushy so bad I spit them out. The brisket is so over cooked that it turns to much as well. The roll was doughy. The atmosphere is nice quiet and calm very homey and feels familiar but that’s not enough to make the food better. When we walked in we were not spoken to. And we had to wait 5 minutes to pay since the register was unattended (there was no line). You’re better off going to Rudy’s.
Super friendly! Lots of options Very good BBQ! I recommend the Big Tex Sandwich… don’t forget your fork and spicy Bbq sauce.
Delicious BBQ, sides and fixins! Brisket, ribs and sausage are all on point. And the fried okra???? It's Heavenly. Support them....you won't be disappointed!
