The food at this restaurant was delicious, especially the lobster which was the best I've ever tried. However, the cleanliness was lacking and there was an unpleasant odor.
The prices on most items have increased by at least 25%, which was surprising and almost made us leave. However, we chose to stay and were pleased with the service and delicious food. Two-thirds of the dining room was closed, possibly due to losing customers because of financial conditions and high prices.
I arrived to check-in with priority seating through OpenDoor. The hostess appeared to be new and needed to call the manager for help. While I waited she added others to the waitlist. The manager came and did something and ask us to wait. I noticed they sat the guests that came after we did. I went to let the manager know and she proceeded to school me about call ahead and priority seating which made no sense, but we still had to wait. I noticed that she sat a table that came in after she checked us in and told her we were both here and checked in before they even arrived as walk-Ins. The guests knew and insisted she seat us and she was less than pleased. I let her know that she sat three walk-in tables that arrived after us. She just acted like we didn’t exist. That was for an unpleasant experience. The next day I realized that she canceled our priority seating instead of checking us in. Pure rudeness!!!
Only issue I had was the wait time with the server. However, she had 3 tables along with a large party of 12 to herself with no help.
