Smokey Jalapeño Bbq - Lewisville

I don’t live in Lewisville, but I make monthly trips there, and this is by far the best restaurant we’ve found! It’s now our go-to spot for every visit. The food is excellent, and the customer service is even better!

This restaurant is a true hidden gem. The meat is incredibly flavorful and satisfying. In addition to BBQ, they serve a bit of Mexican cuisine as well. The owners are very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this spot to everyone. Be sure to try the banana pudding too—you won’t be disappointed! If you’re a barbecue lover, this is definitely a place you need to visit. It’s worth the drive, no matter where you’re coming from!

Our experience was just average. The sausage was decent, and the brisket was alright, but nothing particularly remarkable. The sides were a letdown: the green beans were so overly peppery that I couldn't taste the beans, the mac and cheese was too salty (and I couldn't determine what the strange flecks in it were—definitely not pepper), and the potato salad was acceptable except for a flavor that I personally didn't enjoy, though someone else might. I was really looking forward to the Texas Stars, but when I tried them, they were overwhelmingly sweet, more like a dessert than anything else. I was hoping for a delicious combination of salty, sweet, and tangy, but ended up feeling disappointed. Overall, we didn't find this place special enough to want to return.

The food was really good. The owner was very nice. Loved the fries and the secret sauce used. Spicy BBQ sauce was really good as well. They even do their own delivery for $3 dollars. Prices are not bad at all.

Brisket sandwich on Texas toast was actually pulled pork. Yes I know the difference to the owners. Very little meat and stale white plain bread. No special sauce . Do not recommend. What a big disappointment. Friendly service to order was theonly plus. 3 guys who ordered after me rec 'd their meals first. Yes I noticed.
