Tacos Y Mas Lewisville

Terrible terrible worst 50 bucks iv spent the meat the rice and the beans have no flavor the tortillas are not even cooked they are cold and pale! Dont go here if u wanna be dissapointed!

I usually have a great experience at this place but my last visit was far from good. Let me start by saying DO NOT GO RIGHT BEFORE CLOSING TIME!!! I have been craving some birria tacos for a while and have had some really good ones here...but...ever since they changed the birria taco platter it has gone down bad. Before you could get 3 birria tacos with consome, cilantro and onions for about $12. Now the platter comes with 2 tacos, consome, rice and beans. Personally I don't really care for the rice and beans so the first version of this was great!! Also before the individual taco was $2...now its damn near $4 for 1 taco!! So after craving for a while I went to the Lewisville location last Thursday night about 10 minutes before they closed. I was so happy that I made it!! I ordered the birria platter with an extra taco because 2 is just not enough. I get that they were closing and probably trying to wrap things up but I was SUPER disappointed when I got home and opened my box...the tacos were NOT grilled (they usually are) they barely had any cheese which was half melted, barely any meat in them and the consome was CLEAR!! CLEAR!!! I've never had clear consome from them!!! It was gross!! I was sooooo mad I paid over $20 for this garbage!! It was too late to take it back or I would have. To make things worse I WAS STARVING!!! I specifically waited until the end of the day to eat because I wanted birria tacos so bad!!! I ordered the birria tacos along with the street tacos in carnitas and al pastor. The prices are the lowest I’ve seen at any taqueria, and the portions are generous. The food quality and flavor were excellent. My favorite was the bomberos salsa; it has a fantastic taste, but just a heads-up—it’s one of the spicier options! I highly recommend this place; don’t hesitate to give it a try!

The bistec taco was overly salty, the rice was tough, and the beans lacked flavor. I won't be coming back.
