Nice to go to eat something where you can hear that you eat companions speak but don't hear others diner. no television blaspheming and yet not expensive to reach this ambiente. they wait the personal is attentive, but do not float. eating is creatiw, but not pretentious. portions are suitable. that's what should eat outside!
I was in many weinschats and the pairings of eating were wonderful. However, eating is very shameful and not very good in comparison to what it was earlier. it seemed a little bit underpowered with our normally attentive and cheerful delores due to this. I fear that all the above mentioned about eating, the quality of the food and the underconsistency could be a trend that unfortunately violates this business.
We thought the food and wine was just ok. We got the cheeseboard to start and it was pretty good. Pizza I ordered was supposed to be pear and Gorgonzola but don’t think it had Gorgonzola on it. Tasted like it was just regular pizza cheese. My wife got the lobster and shrimp pot stickers also and they weren’t very good. Probably wouldn’t go back again. Bill was 130 for 2 to eat and could have went to Malones for that amount and would have been a much better meal.
Notice this is not a “dinner” type of restaurant. Best described as an appetizer and wine bar. 1. Limited dinner menu items. 2. The food presentation was great BUT the food was not good at all! wagu meatballs, hard as rocks 2 for $18 lamb chops had zero char or caramelization 3 for $22 wife’s salad was decent. Waitress was pleasant. Atmosphere was hip and casual.
