Dan's Cafe - Lexington

My husband I enjoyed the food and the service was great.

I was driving through town and stopped for lunch. From the outside, I didn't know what to expect. Inside everyone was very friendly. The server had the sweetest southern charm. Absolutely the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. Definitely stopping again

Great place for homestyle food. Large portions, great prices and very friendly.

We so looked forward to the reopening. We had the chicken fried steak, and it was remarkable. Last night, we ordered for takeout, and it was terrible. I hate to complain online, but we couldn't get through by phone. My husband was missing his salad, and why they put in these fried tomatoes is beyond me. The fries were old and cold. The pork belly burnt ends were so hard they were inedible. This was the only bad experience we have had with these owners. Everyone has bad days, so this will not stop us from going there again.

Waiting staff was great. Customer-oriented. The food was great, especially the fish we had. Burger was done, but still very juicy. All we had was great. The buffet had to be refilled, but what was there looked very appetizing. As a former restaurant owner, I would highly recommend Dan's Cafe. You have to go to dinner. I was there at different times of the day and everything is very good
