George's Cottage And Grill - Lexington

First time in the bar small bar large outdoor area. Was surprised that the amount of space they had in back great for horseshoes or just lounging out didn't get a chance to try the food looking forward to my next visit

Waited 20 minutes just to get a menu, another 20 to take our order and an hour for our food plus another 20 for the orders the waitress got wrong, charged us for stuff we ordered but didn't get and because we had to wait so long for our food we asked for to go containers and the waitress instantly had an attitude with us . The food had no flavor and it was expensive. I posted a review on the day we were there a few weeks ago but it did not post.

The bar food is decent. Although the air conditioning was broken, the staff were actively working to fix it. The outdoor seating area is quite lovely, and the staff were very friendly.

The outdoor area features picnic tables, pavilions, horseshoe pits, and cornhole, creating a great atmosphere. Both the patrons and the staff give off a wonderful up-north vibe. I’ve been in the neighborhood for just 10 days, and I've never felt more welcome or satisfied—I've hardly needed to go anywhere else!

I really enjoyed my Western burger! The prices were very reasonable too.
