J. Render's Southern Table - Lexington

The lady and I enjoy this small BBQ place. Happy hour daily 4-7. Some Drinks and apps special pricing during that time. Most Fridays some form of live music plays inside. Of the 5+ visits I haven't been let down on any of the dishes or drinks. The staff is friendly and service and food are great!

Back home for Thanksgiving and I'd never had Renders before. Came with wife and son. The brisket reuben is crazy good! Fried green tomatoes are a must. Next time I'm back in town , I'm coming HANGRY. The man that took the order and the lady that served us were great. Six stars and 3 thumbs up.

When we make it to this side of town and want BBQ this place is at the top of our list. The meat is never dry, always flavorful, we never have to dip into the sauces (but there are plenty on the table if you want them), and the wait staff does a great job checking in on us. J Renders is in my top 3 places in Lex for BBQ.

We had such a great lunch! Stopped here on our way to Shaker Village. We will be back!! Thanks Eric
