Le Deauville - Lexington

This place is one of the best kept secrets in lexington. the atmosphere is fantastic. eating is cheap and delicious. I would highly recommend checking it. from the moment we went until we left the door, we had a first-class service from all we came into contact with.

Absolutely perfect for our little one. the atmosphere is classic, but unpretentious, it seems like an established neighbourhood restaurant with a group of masters who love it, as well as visitors like me who have found it. the service was particularly attentive and discreet. the mush, the fish speciality and the duck were all beautiful.

Our friend got us a gift card and surprised us with a bottle of wine he had pre-ordered us for Christmas/ our 1st anniversary here. One of Lexington KY best kept secrets. A lot of French food so husband being a chef he ordered however they do have stake, fish and chicken so not all French. Not really for kids and if you're not a wine drinker they have water thats all. Definitely worth it and would go back.

The service was great, and the atmosphere is perfect for a date night or special occasion. The muscles were a little disappointing, but we had high expectations from some local reviews. I have had better muscles, but everything else was good, so I will probably try them again to be sure.

This has been a favorite spot for my parents for over a decade. This was the spot for any special occasion and I’ll admit, it was always a satisfying meal. However, I’m unsure of what has happened but over the course of 3 separate occasions in the last year, I’ve had horrendous service. The first time, I understood because this was immediately after the city reopened post- COVID and the second time I assumed it was because it was busy. But today must have been the worst service by far. From not being acknowledged or seated upon arrival, to 35 mins between server interactions- the experience was borderline disrespectful. I wouldn’t usually bother leaving a review but it was more so disappointing for my parents to experience this level of lack of service after years and years of reputable service. To feel so invisible and disregarded when you want to support a local restaurant and enjoy a nice meal. Especially when you see servers and management provide attentive service to what seems like every table except for yours. Dessert was brought to us (from a pre-fixed menu) without evening asking us what we had wanted to having our waiter switched on us when we mentioned the amount of time it took. What is great food when the service is subpar? Take a chance on this place if you must but I can’t imagine recommending this place anymore.
