Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Lexington

Despite being short-staffed, the restaurant delivered my order promptly and kept it hot. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. I noticed there were only four people managing the entire operation during my visit around 7:30 PM on July 28, 2023, so any management looking to commend their team should definitely take note. I always enjoy coming to this place! Food: 5/5

They don't stand by their employees' assurances. Be sure to check your bags before leaving this drive-thru. I asked the person at the window if the livers were included, and she assured me they were. Since I live 15 miles away, I took her word for it. When I later discovered that the livers were missing, I called and provided the employee's name along with mine. She told me to come in anytime to pick up my item. However, when I returned three days later, the employee no longer worked there, and the person at the counter refused to give me the item. I had intended to order a full meal with it. Proceed with caution when visiting the Lee’s on Richmond Rd.

I was looking forward to a nice meal after a week of cold sandwiches on a camping trip, but unfortunately, my experience at this Lee's was a letdown. I spent nearly $30 on an 8-piece strip family meal, and it was not worth it. The mac and cheese was terrible, and the chicken strips were so tough that I was worried I might break a tooth. To top it off, they forgot to include the biscuits and dipping sauces. The only thing I found remotely edible was the potato wedges. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're hungry.

I have gotten carry out through the drive-through from this location many times every single time the chicken is absolutely popping hot and fantastic the sides are fresh and delicious the biscuits are wonderful and the staff who have waited on me or extremely nice and the food has always been great every single time we go get drive-through don’t hesitate to go there because they’re wonderful

I waited in line waiting to pick up after I had ordered my liver dinner, which with the dinner, I got two sides which were mashed potatoes and gravy and Cole slaw. The livers tasted like they had been sitting for a minute and the potatoes and gravy, which was very bland in taste. My total cost was 9.93 would not have been so bad if the food has tasted better.
