Mad Mushroom Pizza - Lexington

For a pizzeria, they serve the best sandwiches in the area. This restaurant has been outstanding every time I've visited, making it well worth the trip from Louisville.

My first experience was at the Richmond location, where I tried the Buffalo Chicken pizza, and it was delicious. It’s a great pizza for the price. The chocolate chip cookie was outstanding—definitely the best! For my second visit, I ordered from the Lexington location. I placed an order for The Meats pizza and breadsticks on a weekday right when they opened, but I ended up waiting on a very large order. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't fantastic. I plan to give them another shot in the future.

I ordered one of their cheesesteak sandwiches, and it was both delicious and HUGE. The staff is really friendly. I will definitely be coming back whenever I need a quick bite after class.

Fantastic pizza, honestly my favorite pizza place in Lexington.

The pizzas here are great. Quality is consistent. The people that work Herr are nice and personable. Have been a regular customer, and will return again.
