Panera Bread - Lexington

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I went through the drive-thru to order chicken and wild rice soup. The employee seemed to have minimal knowledge about the menu, specifically the bread dishes. After waiting 15 minutes, I arrived at the window but was not greeted; instead, the clerk just repeated my order. Once my card was returned, I was asked to pull forward to wait for my food. I ended up sitting there for 20 minutes, only to see a car that had just arrived receive their order before me. While the food was good, I don’t think it was worth the long wait and poor service—I'm unlikely to return.

Finally, a young woman came over to help me finish the order. I double-checked everything, and of course, it was incorrect! The girl who had initially helped me then disappeared, and when I pointed out that my French onion soup was missing, she looked at me as if she didn’t understand. I had to read her my order before she nodded and handed me a cup of soup before walking off again. I was so disappointed by the lack of service. It felt like no one was actually working there. I definitely won’t be coming back!

Had a nice lunch with my granddaughter. She had never been, had the chicken BLT. I chose the tuna, always good. Also had frozen strawberry lemonades, which were almost dessert. Store was clean, staff friendly.

I am officially done with Panera.. I asked for chicken salad with no bread. I paid $11 and received 7 small chunks of chicken. This is NOT enough to fill an entire sandwich. So I paid over $1 per small chunk!?!?! I left hungry.. the last time I came, the drive thru knew how to place the order as a side item. I should not pay $11 for this. I will not be back..

I placed my order online and it was ready when I arrived. The lemon drop cookie was the best part of my lunch. It was soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Everything was still hot when I drove 15 minutes back home. The only problem was the turkey had a funny taste to it so I didn't eat my sandwich. And I wasn't pleased with the miniature size of cream cheese I received..The young man who brought my food out was very friendly. There wasn't a long wait once I arrived either
