Schooners Grill - Lexington

I wouldn’t recommend eating at Schooners if Rebecca is in the kitchen. I experienced the worst food I've had in over three years. They really need to let her go.

The chicken wrap was somewhat disappointing—quite dry and lacking in flavor, even though there was a generous portion. Overall, it's an okay spot. On a positive note, they do have tater tots!

We've been coming to this restaurant for about 11 years now, and I have to say, the wings here are better than those at the Irmo location. Our waitress was fantastic. While the wait was a bit longer during our most recent visit, there were a lot of customers, so I understand. The food is consistently good, and the bathroom is clean! No complaints at all!

I visited this restaurant two nights in a row, along with lunch, and there's a good reason for that! I really enjoy this place, the staff, and the guests. It’s just a short walk from the truck stop, or if it's raining, only a $5 Uber ride away.

This restaurant is exactly what you'd expect from a local spot. We visited last night to enjoy the live music and found seats at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and provided prompt service. Although it wasn't completely packed, it had a good number of local patrons who all seemed to know one another. It's a decent place to catch a band or grab a quick bite. It's definitely not a fine dining establishment, but the food is quite tasty and the service was excellent. With good music to boot, what more could you ask for? If you're looking for somewhere to quickly grab a meal or enjoy some live music, this is the place for you. However, if you're in search of a romantic or quiet dining experience, this might not be the right choice.
