Tandoor Fine Indian Cuisine - Lexington

My boyfriend and I decided to try an Indian restaurant we hadn’t been to before, and we ended up at Tandoor. The atmosphere at Tandoor is cozy, with an authentic dining area and elegant decor. The service was outstanding; the staff were all friendly and attentive. To start, we enjoyed a complimentary appetizer of mint chutney served with light, airy chips—it was delicious and the mint was both refreshing and robust. For our appetizers, we ordered pakoras and samosas, and they were fantastic. For the main course, we chose lamb masala at a spice level of 3 out of 5. It was perfectly spiced, offering a nice kick without overwhelming the palate, and it was full of flavor. I also had a mango juice, which was refreshing and clearly made from fresh mangoes. I highly recommend Tandoor to anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine—definitely a 10/10 experience!

A friend suggested this restaurant since she knew I love South Asian cuisine. We decided to try the lunch buffet, and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend it and will definitely come back when I have the chance.

I no longer live in Lexington and the thing I truly miss about the city is this restaurant. I literally dream about the kofta lajawab. The best Indian food in Lexington, no doubt about it!
